There is a reggae song making a huge impact globally. Ride, by American duo Twenty-One Pilots, is currently number six on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

Ride is taken from Blurryface, their fourth album, which was released in 2015. The set has so far sold 1.1 million copies in the United States.

Ride is produced by American Ricky Reed, the man behind Talk Dirty and Wiggle by Haitian/American singer Jason Derulo; Lunchmoney Lewis’ Bills (Lewis is the son of Inner Circle bassist Ian Lewis); and Virgin Islands duo R City’s Take You Down.

The song has been certified gold in four countries: Australia for sales of over 35,000; Canada for sales of 40,000; Italy (25,000); and New Zealand (7,500).

Twenty-One Pilots are from Columbus, Ohio. Formed in 2009 as a quartet, its current members are Tyler Joseph (lead vocalist/keyboardist) and Josh Dun (drummer/percussionist). They are signed to Atlantic Records subsidiary Fueled by Ramen.

Elsewhere, on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart, number one is still Falling Into Place by Rebelution.
