Incarcerated Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel is yet to start his appeal process after he was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.

According to sources close to the case, the ‘Fever’ deejay’s legal team is still reviewing the documents in his case and that’s the reason for the hold up.

 

This update comes months after Kartel’s attorney Tom Tavares-Finson revealed that the transcripts for the self-proclaimed ‘Worl Boss’ appeal were ready.

The transcripts have been reviewed, and we were told that they have been copying and numbering the pages over the last couple of months,” Tavares-Finson said back in May. “As you can well imagine, it is a couple of boxes of transcripts, but we have been informed that within the next week, it will be finished and Vybz Kartel will receive it, and then he can instruct his legal team, whosoever he chooses, to act and start the appeal process.”
